The Peace Dove. Here's the story: The government of Sonora, Mexico is trying to discourage children from playing with violent toys, so they held a "violent toy turn in." They received lots of toys, but ...oh my...what to do with them? They hired Tony Estrada, who runs the Alamos museum and is a world-renowned sculptor to create this. It is made of hundreds of toys, guns, swords, toy soldiers and the like. It is currently in the plaza for the music festival. January 21, 2011 Alamos, Sonora, Mexico
